Earsight, Adam's jazz/funk/fusion project, will be performing at Greenville's Artisphere Arts Festival on Sunday, May 12th from 11:30am-12:30pm. Artisphere has been ranked the seventh best fine arts festival in the country. Come out and enjoy the music, people, and art.

Adam was recently interviewed by Michael Staton for an article in Upstate BE Magazine/Independent Mail Online, a local publication in the Anderson/Clemson area. Topics of their discussion include Adam's current project, an organ-based jazz/funk quartet, and how being a part of a band can be more fulfilling than just working as a jazz guitar sideman.

In this article/interview Adam discusses his influences, current projects, and love for funk.

Adam has started an organ trio project with Will Sinclair (Hammond B-3) and Tim Blackwell (drums). Their music draws from jazz, gospel, blues, soul, funk, and fusion. The band members all love the music of Jimmy Smith, Soulive, Grant Green, Robert Walter, Medeski, Martin, and Wood, and Galactic. They will be performing originals in this style as well as some of their favorite tunes from the artists mentioned above.

Adam has been asked to perform at the Artisphere Arts Festival on May 11th, from 5:30-6:30pm (Culinary Arts Stage on Broad Street). Adam's guitar ensemble arrangement of Duke Ellington's, Don't Get Around Much Anymore, is being performed by the Kennesaw State University Jazz Guitar Ensemble. Kennesaw State's Jazz Guitar Ensemble is directed by Trey Wright.

After years of writing, recording, and touring, GOLDEN is officially taking a break. We are all involved in different projects (bands, recording, etc...) and would like some time to nurture them. GOLDEN will not be booking any more shows for time being. We will continue to work together on some level, most likely writing and recording. Stay tuned to see what the future holds.
